I’m growing up so fast Mom can hardly believe it. I’m starting to eat real food! I eat Mom’s homemade applesauce (I think it’s a little too sour), I tried some squished banana (weird texture), and have been eating mashed-up yams lately.

I like the yams best, but even better is watermelon! I love sucking on that stuff! When Mom lets me have some, I grab her hand and hold on to make sure she doesn’t take it away.

Watermelon is almost as good as red licorice! I tried some of that at Grandma and Grandpa Lillywhite’s house while we were down in St. George. It was super yummy! I really grabbed Mom’s hand when she was giving me some so she couldn’t take it away. I got pretty red, but then I drooled it off and down onto my red outfit. You couldn’t even tell I’d gotten all messy—self-cleaning!
