Finally, two weeks later, here is our Halloween post!
Despite not being able to go to St. George like we'd wanted to, we had a dandy of a day. We made yummy, whole-wheat, jack-o-lantern pancakes for breakfast (and smothered them in sugar) and spent the rest of the morning doing projects (like making Noah's hat and gloves). Then in the afternoon, we went hiking up Centerville Canyon. So pretty! Awesome trail! Gorgeous weather! Great hiking from Eden! No complaints from Noah! Perfect!
After our hike, we picked up a jack-o-lantern pizza from Papa Murphy's, threw on the kids' costumes and hit the road just before 8 o'clock (rather late in this neighborhood).
Noah was the green monster from his pj's (very cute & very tired).
Eden was a pink kitty-cat and wanted to wear her tutu just like the kitty on her jammies! So pretty!
Eden caught in the act: being nice to her little brother!
Trick-or-Treating was fun and fairly warm. Noah loved eating mini M&M's when we got home and Eden couldn't wait to eat a pink Laffy Taffy (everything is better in pink)!
P.S.
Hey Hikers: check out the sweet way they made the bridges on that trail! They were amazingly easy to cross, even with a kid in tow!
P.P.S. Just F.Y.I. in case you didn't know: you can click on the collages to see the pictures more up close...! :)

Julene did a pretty awesome job sewing Noah's monster hat. pretty sweet little costume, which I'm sure he'll be wearing all winter.
Eden loves her kitty ears too. She wants to wear them all the time to the store. :)
cute, cute, cute....What a great family!
I really enjoyed visiting with you guys. can't wait to have you come down for Thanksgiving!
What cute little Halloweeners. Love the hiking pics too. Also, for your info, we just couldn't do without a mattress so we went to the Hurricane Wal Mart and we now have another airbed and blower that works with the car. Love seeing your updates! Thanks for the fun Halloween movie in our e-mail too.
Oops, forgot your other question...as for picture piles...I just keep moving things around and using that little dial thingy to change the size and the position of the pictures. I need your help in figuring out what to do with my excess side space. It looks so boring!!!
Very cute Juge! I can't believe you made Noah's hat! Good job! it looks awesome. Your kids are cute, your hike looks fun and your daughter is crazy for loving the snow--although I really do miss waking up to see the snow falling and the sight of freshly fallen snow. It's just living with it after the initial beauty that I don't miss!
